Applications for Taught Masters, Postgraduate Diplomas, Certificates, and Research courses at Maynooth University will open mid-October. You can apply online through Maynooth's application portal. Please check back for more details on the application process.

Recognition of Prior Learning

If you do not have a Level 8 undergraduate qualification but have significant relevant life and/or professional experience, you may be eligible to apply for admission to a postgraduate programme through our Recognition of Prior Learning Policy. Maynooth University welcomes applications from prospective students via our Recognition of Prior Learning Policy. Deferring your place on a postgraduate programme

Students wishing to defer a place should read the following:

  1. Please ensure that you have accepted your offer on the PAC application system.
  2. Pay your deposit which will roll over to the new academic year once your deferral has been approved.
  3. Contact the department that you are joining directly letting them know that you wish to defer your place.
